Bastille 1789 was born from Édouard Daucourt's ambition to create a revolutionary French whisky. Launched in 2010, the brand draws on four generations of Charente expertise to break free from Anglo-Saxon traditions.

Produced entirely in France, this whisky uses selected barley and wheat, as well as pure water from Gensac. Distillation is carried out in traditional stills to guarantee optimal aromatic finesse.

The uniqueness of Bastille 1789 comes from its aging in oak barrels that previously held Sauternes, Burgundy, Pineau, Bourbon, or Cognac. This process offers a singular profile with notes of dried fruit and sweet spices.

Ingredients
- 6 cl BASTILLE 1789 Whisky
- 2 cl cherry syrup
- 2 cl fresh lemon juice
- 1 egg white
Preparation
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker.
- Shake vigorously for a few minutes.
- Add a few ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously again.
- Serve without waiting, after removing the ice cubes, in a cosmopolitan glass.
- Garnish with a raspberry.
